Every Danish child knows the Pixi book. We wanted to celebrate the tiny book’s 60th birthday with some fun facts
about the Pixi book:
- The first Pixi books came out in hardcover in 1953
- The books measure exactly 10 x 10 cm and weighs approx. 25 gr
- 891: the number of Pixi books that has come out in Denmark
- In Denmark there has been sold more than 52 million Pixi books!
- The Pixi book has come out in many countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Iceland,
the Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, England, Australia, Croatia, Switzerland, Italy, China, USA, Japan etc.
Lille Nord loves the little book and clearly remember our own childhood reading Pixi classics.
